Hanging outside without getting fried!
Hi! We are Carlo, Sjaan, Mason and Evie and we’re the founders of Discover Threads. For the moment we call the Gold Coast home, but you will rarely find us in the hustle and bustle of Surfers! We love exploring hidden gems and adventuring outside. Camping, fishing, hiking, 4×4… you name it! Our journey began in 2015 when we decided to create stylish threads and custom designs for outdoor enthusiasts. Not long down the track, we had our first baby and soon got sick and tired of worrying about him getting scorched in the sun!
We weren’t fans of applying loads of sunscreen (often full of chemicals), every time we wanted to head outdoors. There also wasn’t a great deal of sun protective clothing out there and we weren’t too keen on the designs…. So, we took it to the next level! We decided to kick things in a new direction slightly and focus on sun protection for the whole family. We’re super passionate about what we do and pride ourselves on quality and unique designs. Our long sleeve sun shirts are UPF 50+ rated, durable, breathable, quick dry, odour free and very comfy. Each design is very unique and you will be happy to know that no matter how many times you wash it, it won’t fade. We do limited, short runs of each design to keep things fresh. We hope our threads inspire you all to get outside more and enjoy what this awesome country has to offer.
Australia is home to some of the world’s best beaches, 4×4 tracks, camping destinations and fishing spots, so stop hanging around like a blowfly, protect yourself and get out there!
